Employee Engagement & Volunteerism Efforts
Employees at Charles River Apparel are always encouraged to volunteer and give back to the community. The company is in the process of developing a formal Employee Volunteer Program. While the company takes pride in their ability to donate in-kind and monetary donations to various organizations, the real value is when Charles River Apparel employees can volunteer and take part personally in the charity. Charles River Apparel strives to continuously think outside the box and formulate creative partnerships to increase support and build successful sponsorships for the charities they are involved in.
If you are interested in a possible partnership with your organization, please contact Deb Lipsett, Manager of Strategic Partnerships at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Employees were also given the opportunity to volunteer on company time at Cradles to Crayons, a non-profit organization that provides clothing and other essential items to children living in homeless or low-income situations. Employees sorted hundreds of pieces of children’s apparel, creating sets of clothing that will be given directly to infants and children.“The work that Cradles to Crayons does to better the lives of those in need is truly astounding” commented Barry Lipsett, President & Owner of Charles River Apparel. “It was inspiring to see how many employees got involved, and were able to see the direct impact of their efforts in making a child’s life better.” Charles River Apparel had over 50% employee participation in their company-sponsored event.
