Charles River Apparel complies with all applicable rules, bans and regulations under the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) and any other act, ban or regulations enforced by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commissions (CPSC).
California Proposition 65 Charles River Apparel is committed to delivering thoughtfully designed, high-quality products that meet applicable U.S. federal and state requirements, including California Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986.
Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide a clear and reasonable warning when a product may expose consumers to a listed chemical at levels that require a warning under the law.
As part of our ongoing quality and compliance program, Charles River Apparel works closely with our suppliers to review materials, components, trims, manufacturing processes, chemical requirements, supplier documentation, and applicable product testing. These practices help us verify that our products are manufactured to Charles River Apparel standards and support compliance with CPSIA, Proposition 65, and other applicable federal and state requirements.
We also monitor evolving requirements related to PFAS, or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. Certain PFAS, including PFOA and PFOS, are included on California’s Proposition 65 list, and California separately regulates PFAS in textile articles. As part of our compliance program, we work with our suppliers and testing partners to evaluate products against applicable PFAS requirements and thresholds.
Based on our current supplier documentation, compliance reviews, and applicable product testing, Charles River Apparel has not identified product exposures requiring Proposition 65 warning. We will continue to monitor regulatory requirements, review our supply chain practices, and update our testing and compliance programs as standards evolve.
